Legal 500 demonstrates strong support from clients

The excellence and professionalism of the team at B P Collins has been underlined with the publication of the latest Legal 500 rankings.

The Gerrards Cross firm retained its existing position and won plaudits for its “excellent service”, “imaginative solutions” and “sound advice”.

B P Collins’ corporate and commercial team was singled out for its particular expertise in the technology, marketing and waste management sectors. In 2008 the team was appointed to Clydesdale Bank’s regional panel, and advised Greenstar UK Holdings on the acquisition of Dunstable Waste Group.

Clients said they appreciated the “personable, knowledgeable and efficient service,” provided by senior partner, David Stanning.

The commercial litigation team was praised for its “excellent commercial and tactical acumen”, while the Employment team’s Jo Davis was singled out as being “particularly good at finding imaginative solutions to employment issues”. Michael Larcombe, partner and commercial property practice group leader was also recommended for his contribution to his team's growing presence in the waste management and retail sector.

In the private client sector, B P Collins’ work with charities was recognised as providing an “excellent, professional service at a realistic price”, while Sue Andrews, partner and Family law practice group leader, was praised as leaving clients “totally reassured by her depth of experience and her knowledge of a very complicated area of the law”.

The firm are particularly pleased that the Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate team has continued to be recognised as a top tier firm in this area.
