Six members of the family and matrimonial law team from Gerrards Cross solicitors B P Collins will shortly be taking to the skies with a parachute jump to raise cash for charity.
The team are aiming to collect at least £2,000 for the town’s Leonard Cheshire Disability Home and are looking for sponsors.
Partner and practice group leader, Sue Andrews, said: “None of us have ever sky dived before but we wanted to do something which would stretch our capabilities and nerves to the very edge. We had decided to do this long before we heard that the Archbishop of York, John Sentamu, was doing one, but if he can do it so can we!"
“The Leonard Cheshire charity does a great job in helping to change attitudes towards disability and we feel it is especially important to support a local charity. In our own small way, we hope doing this jump from 10,000 feet and raising funds will help acknowledge their hard work.”
Joining her will be colleagues Annette Keevil, Petrova Caldecourt and Melanie Bataillard-Samuel, who are all associate solicitors, together with paralegal Vanessa Macleod and legal secretary, Elaine Holt.
The jump takes place on September 6, at Skydive Weston, near Bicester, and anyone interested in sponsoring the team should visit www.justgiving.com/bpcfamilydeptskydive.
