It's the Gerrards Cross fun run on May 23 and staff from B P Collins will be among hundreds of runners pounding the streets in aid of local charities.

The law firm is once more supporting the event as a Gold Sponsor and, as well as taking part in the run itself, other members of staff will also be lending their support on the day.

Senior partner David Stanning said: "The bi-annual fun run is always a key milestone on the Gerrards Cross calendar and we're delighted to be involved again this year. I'm told (and believe!) that all our runners are hard at work with their training and we're sure they and their colleagues will do us proud and help raise lots of money for good causes at the same time."

Over the last seven years, the GX Cross Fun Run has grown to become the village's biggest community fundraising event, collecting over £160,000 for charities. This year's chosen recipients will be High Wycombe-based organisations Kids In Sport and the Sunrise Cancer Unit.

The 5km race is expected to attract around 1,500 runners, from serious competitors to fun run aficionados and, for those who aren't putting on their running shoes, there'll be plenty to keep everyone entertained with rides, slides and refreshments on Gerrards Cross Common.
