Sue has specialised in family law since qualifying in May 1980 and joined B P Collins in 1988 from a large family law department in central London. She regularly advises clients with multi-million pound assets, often involving family businesses, trusts, assets both in the UK and abroad and leading individuals in business and the media. Sue is regarded by her peers as a "force to be reckoned with", her sensitivity and insight into the needs of clients and her ability to provide practical and realistic advice is borne out by her popularity with clients. Sue has also undertaken extensive mediation training.
Sue is passionate about her work, having wanted to be a family lawyer since the age of 14. Her other interests (time permitting!) include music, theatre, travel, keeping fit, bridge, fashion and fast cars.

Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and joined B P Collins in 2010 after positions in the City and with another large Thames Valley law firm. Emma graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury, winning the Blackstone prize for clinical legal education, before completing her education at the College of Law, Guildford.
Emma specialises in complex financial and children disputes following relationship breakdown, with additional experience in pre nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. She often acts in cases with an international element including experience in international judicial cooperation between England & Wales and the Middle East and a familiarity with the particular sensitivities of the breakdown of Asian marriages.
Emma has written for The Sunday Telegraph and Family Law and spoken to parenting forums, professional bodies and representatives of the finance industry on developments in family law. Outside of the office, her interests include politics and cooking.

Petrova graduated with a LLB in 2000, a Masters in Law in 2002 from University College London and qualified as a solicitor in August 2007. She previously worked for B P Collins as a Para-legal and was delighted to return to the family practice in January 2008.
Petrova advises on divorce and financial matters following the breakdown of a relationship as well as disputes concerning contact and residence of children. She is also a member of the Lawyers Christian Fellowship. She has been recommended by Chambers UK 2010 as an associate to watch within the Family/Matrimonial field.
When not working she is a keen photographer, enjoys reading, cooking and the theatre. She loves to travel, especially to the USA, and delights in spending time with friends.

Fran qualified as a solicitor in 2006 having attended the University of Wales in Cardiff and College of Law Guildford. She joined B P Collins in September 2011 from well-know city law firm Payne Hicks Beach to add to the powerful four-strong group of dedicated family lawyers already here.
Fran specialises in complex financial and children disputes following relationship breakdown. Fran is experienced in dealing with high net worth and high profile cases which frequently involve complex jurisdictional, trust, business and tax issues. She also handles cases under Schedule 1 of the Children Act as well as contact and residence disputes.
Outside of the office, Fran enjoys aerobics, walking, music and travelling.

Laura graduated with an LLB from the University of Hull in 2006 and qualified as a solicitor in December 2010 having completed her training contract at a large regional firm in Yorkshire where she spent over a year in the Family Law Group.
Laura works alongside the Practice Group Leader, Sue Andrews primarily on matters with high value and in complex children disputes following a relationship breakdown.
Laura's interests include cooking, music and the theatre.
