Chris is a local man, having been educated at the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe. He gained a scholarship to Balliol College, Oxford where he obtained a law degree. Chris joined B P Collins in 1983 and became a partner in 1986.

Chris has more than 20 years' experience working with developers and a loyal local client base that regularly instructs the firm. Chris continues to act for a number of private clients selling to developers substantial parcels of development land including several highly complex transactions.

Outside of work, Chris is a keen cricketer and golfer, currently Chairman of Chalfont St. Giles Cricket Club and, in the winter, is a season ticket holder at Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.



Jan Collis

Jan trained with Winter Taylors in High Wycombe and qualified as a solicitor in November 1981. She joined the property practice group of B P Collins in 1984.

Having been qualified for over 30 years, Jan has a wealth of property knowledge particularly in the residential market.

Outside of B P Collins, Jan is an avid golfer, plays tennis and has an interest in most sports.

Shona graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2000 with an LLB (Hons), trained at a firm in High Wycombe and qualified in August 2003.

Shona has extensive experience of a broad range of commercial property and residential property development transactions, acting for charities, businesses, private individuals, property developers and lenders.

Recent transactions have included the conditional purchase of a listed building subject to planning consent and the surrender and simultaneous re-grant of a commercial lease conditional on planning. Shona has also lectured on Property at the University of Westminster.

Outside of work Shona is a keen sports fan and follows the exploits of Tottenham Hotspur and London Wasps. She also enjoys cooking, pub quizzes, going to the theatre and keeping fit.

David Alldis

David has spent his legal career working in the Home Counties with varied experience in the fields of property and litigation. He joined the property department of Gerrards Cross law firm Fairchild Dobbs in 2001. Since Fairchild Dobbs incorporated with B P Collins LLP in January 2012, David is now an associate in the residential property team.

He graduated from the University of York in 1975 and, after having qualified as a teacher, spent three years working for the Warwickshire Education Authority. He went on to qualify as a solicitor in 1984 and later became a member of the Family Law Panel.

Living in Watford, David is a supporter and shareholder of Watford FC and otherwise enjoys a game of cricket, walking with the Chiltern Weekend Walkers, reading, the theatre and acting as an occasional charity quizmaster. As a graduate in politics he takes a keen interest in current affairs and enjoys travelling at home and abroad.

Heather graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Reading University in 1980 and qualified as a solicitor 3 years later. She first joined the property practice group of B P Collins in 1986. Heather specialises in residential conveyancing. In her spare time she is involved with the local Guides and is a member of a book group.

Robin Couser

Robin graduated from Southampton University in 1970 and spent five years with Wedlake Bell training to be a solicitor, but then decided to become a specialist property lawyer and was a founder member of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers.

He has been with B P Collins for over 25 years, building up an extensive network of contacts and local knowledge. In his spare time, Robin is a keen cyclist and skier as well as a contemporary music fan.
