Having graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Exeter University, Tim joined B P Collins as a trainee solicitor in 1994, qualified the following year and became a partner in 1998. Tim has a wide range of experience of commercial contracts, plastics technology, IT, factoring and trade finance, professional negligence and contentious probate and specialises in the resolution of high value commercial disputes, particularly trade finance disputes and disputes relating to the movie and advertising industries. Tim has been highlighted as a leading litigator by Chambers UK, A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession for the past three years. He is a Member of the Society for Computers and Law, Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates and the Expert Witness Institute. Tim is married with three children and his interests include tennis, football and hacking round golf courses.

Matthew graduated with LLB (Hons) from Exeter University in 1994, and went on to receive a commendation on the LPC, York. After completing his training at Lee Bolton & Lee Solicitors, Westminster he joined the firm's LDR team in 1997 and became a Partner in 2002. Matthew is the Partner in charge of our Beaconsfield office and specialises in resolving commercial contractual disputes, professional negligence claims and private client matters, including personal injury claims and Magistrates Court cases. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Matthew enjoys skiing, hill walking, travelling (especially Africa) and raising money each year for the St Lawrence Hope of Hope Orphanage in Zambia and for Children in Need. Matthew is married and has a young son.

Nick graduated from Hull University in 1979 and qualified as a solicitor in 1983. He worked for Pinsent Curtis and a well-known firm in Berkeley Street, London W1. Nick joined B P Collins in 1987 and became a partner in 1991. He handles broadly based "heavy weight" litigation, principally relating to contract, commercial property work and professional negligence claims, in the Courts and by arbitration, adjudication and mediation. He is also involved with construction, trade finance agreements, fraud, insolvency and health and safety matters. Nick has been identified as a "leading litigator" for the past three years in Chambers UK, A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession, and is a CEDR-accredited mediator and a mediation advocate. He is co-founder (with James Torr of Elrond Consulting) of the Middlesex and Thames Valley Mediators. A keen squash player, Nick is married with 2 children.

David graduated from Cambridge University in 1982. After military service with the 9th/12th Lancers and a spell as a credit and political risks insurance broker at Lloyd's of London, he qualified in 1990 as a solicitor with Simmons & Simmons in the City. In 1995, he moved to B P Collins and now specialises in guiding clients through their commercial litigation issues, acting for companies and individuals worldwide, focusing on intellectual property disputes and partnership, company and shareholder actions. David is an accredited Mediator. He is Chairman of the Buckinghamshire Branch of the Institute of Directors and non-executive director of a manufacturing company that is the holder of a Queen's Award for Innovation.
Sarah Jackson
Senior Associate
Sarah graduated from the London School of Economics with a LLB (Hons) degree and completed her LPC at the College of Law, London. She trained at Fox Williams in the City and qualified as a solicitor in 2003, joining B P Collins shortly after. Sarah deals with a wide range of heavyweight contract and commercial disputes, particularly those involving professional negligence and shareholder actions. Outside of work, Sarah is jointly responsible for organising Uxfest, a project which is funded by a lottery grant and involves training 80 plus young people to run a rock festival. Sarah also enjoys travelling, going to the gym and yoga.
Craig Williams
Senior Associate
Craig graduated from Warwick University in 2000 with LLB (Hons) and completed his LPC in Bristol. Having joined B P Collins in October 2001 as a trainee solicitor, he qualified into the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group in October 2003. Craig specialises in commercial litigation, resolving disputes arising out of commercial contracts, IT, factoring and trade finance and professional negligence. He also deals with private client litigation, in particular contentious probate matters. His interests outside of work include rock climbing and mountaineering and he has also played badminton at county level.
Robert Clark
Associate
Robert graduated from Nottingham University and completed his LPC at Nottingham Law School. He joined B P Collins in September 2006 from Worcester-based Harrison Clark. He has experience in both commercial and residential property and handles leasehold disputes, possession claims and lease renewals, disputes over boundaries, rights of way, easements and compulsory purchase orders. Robert acts on behalf of landlords and tenants, as well as mortgagees in possession and private individuals.
Leticia Jennings

Leticia graduated from the University of Kent with a BA (Hons) in English, and completed her legal education at the College of Law in Guildford. She trained at Knights, and joined B P Collins as an associate solicitor in September 2007. Leticia specialises in commercial litigation. Outside of work her interests include current affairs, reading, theatre (particularly Shakespearean), and spending time with her friends and family.
Laura Machin
Associate
Laura graduated from the University of Liverpool with BA (Hons) in Law and History in 2002 and received a Distinction on the LPC at Guildford College of Law. She trained at Stanley Tee solicitors in Bishop's Stortford before qualifying in 2006. Laura spent her first year at Shoosmiths before joining B P Collins in September 2007 to expand the Property litigation team. Laura specialises in Landlord and Tenant disputes, exit strategies, tenant insolvency, possession and squatters actions, boundary disputes and general property litigation, and undertook a considerable amount of advocacy during her time at Shoosmiths in the County Courts. Outside of work, Laura is always found with her hockey stick, and has previously played in the England Mixed Hockey squad.
Rebecca Samuel

Rebecca completed a LLM(Hons) in Intellectual Property and BMus(Perf) from Auckland Univeristy, New Zealand before being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2004, and as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2007. She joined our Litigation and dispute resolution practice group at the beginnning of 2007. Her experience covers a broad range of areas including company disputes, commercial contracts, property, construction and intellectual property. Rebecca's outside interests include attending the opera and other cultural performances, watching rugby and travelling.
Suzanne Smith
Associate
Suzanne graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA in Law and Sociology before working as a paralegal for Masons. Suzanne joined B P Collins as a trainee solicitor in August 2004 and qualified in 2006.
Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys travelling and recently spent five months backpacking around South-East Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
