Shirt sponsorship boost for local school
Talented young players at Robertswood Rangers Football Club received a welcome boost when Buckinghamshire based law firm B P Collins LLP agreed to be the kit sponsors for one of the year groups for the 2014 season.
The club consists of FA qualified coaches and is open to girls and boys (up to year 6) from Robertswood School in Chalfont St Peter. The pupils train every Saturday on the school playing fields with the aim for social inclusion, rather than how good a player might be.
Whilst the partnership was always going to be a match made in heaven, given both parties' brands proudly associate with the colour blue, most important are the values the children uphold on the pitch each weekend.
B P Collins' corporate partner Victoria Holland explains: "The over-riding ethos of the club is one of fair play and inclusion for all, principles which resonate in business as well as on the football pitch."
Victoria became a Parent Governor at Robertswood at the beginning of 2014 and is also responsible for managing relationships with a number of B P Collins' key corporate clients including waste management leaders, Grundon Waste Management, with her work gaining her a well-deserved reputation for speed, efficiency and time management skills.
Alix Wilson, treasurer for the club, praised the firm's involvement: "On behalf of Robertswood Rangers, I would like to thank you for your generosity and support."
B P Collins is well-known for its commitment to the local sporting community, including the Gerrards Cross Fun Run, local cricket clubs and is key sponsor of the Bucks Sporting Lunch Club, as well as providing fundraising support for charities such as Scannappeal, Age UK Bucks and Epilepsy Society.
