Town gathers for annual Christmas Festival
There was a great turnout for the annual Gerrards Cross Christmas Festival on Wednesday 7 December. Local residents took part in the festivities, with many of the traders providing treats, games and prizes along Station Road and Packhorse Road, including B P Collins, and choir performances from local groups.
The annual event is organised by the Rotary Club of Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter and the Rotary Club of Misbourne Matins to help raise funds for local charities and projects.
B P Collins was proud to take part once again in such a key event in the town's social calendar. This year, the firm welcomed over 100 people through its doors to warm up from the cold weather with a festive rum punch and mince pies.
There was also a competition to guess how many sweets were in a jar to win both the jar and £50 of Waitrose vouchers.
Congratulations to Zara Martin, who was the closest with a winning guess of 118 sweets.
