Simon has extensive experience of helping businesses exploit their technology and intellectual property rights and he has headed the TIP team since its inception. He manages a portfolio of fast-growing technology-based businesses and is solutions-focussed, ensuring that good legal advice is given in its commercial context.
Key recent TIP projects for clients include advising a large US software corporation on licensing its website management products to well-known multinationals, advising a famous Italian food brand on publishing its first book and advising a management consultancy company on acquiring exclusive software distribution rights, enabling it to sell software solutions to complement its business advice to large corporates.
Simon is married to Cath and they have three young children, all of whom are showing early signs of their father's ability to successfully negotiate. Outside the office, when not indulging his family, Simon can usually be found wielding his golf clubs, playing football (very slowly!) or watching any sports he can find.
