Trainee Selection Procedure
B P Collins places significant importance on selecting the right trainees.
We look for bright, well-rounded individuals who possess excellent academics and a genuine desire to train and work within the firm. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome all applications.
Each year we are represented at the College of Law fair and a number of university law fairs and we have entries in the Chambers Student Guide, the Training Contract Handbook and the Lex 100 Student Guide.
Screening interviews and verbal reasoning/grammar tests are conducted by the HR team during June - August followed by an assessment day in the Autumn. The assessment day involves presentations, group exercises, case studies, psychometrics and interviews. You will also have opportunity to meet existing trainees and tour our offices.
Method of Application
Candidates are required to submit a full CV together with a handwritten covering letter to the HR Manager by 31 May each year.
Application deadline
Applications for 2011 contracts will be accepted from 1 March to 31 May 2010.
