Simon graduated in law from The University of Birmingham and trained with B P Collins, qualifying as a solicitor in 1997. He became a Partner in May 2005. Simon has wide experience of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals and corporate finance work, and specialises in technology law, advising clients on protecting and exploiting their intellectual property rights and routes to market via information technology. Simon is a member of the Society for Computers and Law. A keen sportsman (and sports fan), outside the office Simon can usually be found wielding his golf clubs, playing football or watching any sports he can find.

Alex trained at B P Collins and qualified in 1999, before becoming a partner in 2007. Aside from leading substantial M&A transactions, Alex undertakes a wide mix of most other types of corporate and commercial work, with a particular emphasis on the information technology and environmental sectors. A keen sportsman, Alex is a regular footballer, occasional golfer and a long suffering Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

Having graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Exeter University, Tim joined B P Collins as a trainee solicitor in 1994, qualified the following year and became a partner in 1998. Tim has a wide range of experience of commercial contracts, plastics technology, IT, factoring and trade finance, professional negligence and contentious probate and specialises in the resolution of high value commercial disputes, particularly trade finance disputes and disputes relating to the movie and advertising industries. Tim has been highlighted as a leading litigator by Chambers UK, A Client's Guide to the Legal Profession for the past three years. He is a Member of the Society for Computers and Law, Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates and the Expert Witness Institute. Tim is married with three children and his interests include tennis, football and hacking round golf courses.

David graduated from Cambridge University in 1982. After military service with the 9th/12th Lancers and a spell as a credit and political risks insurance broker at Lloyd's of London, he qualified in 1990 as a solicitor with Simmons & Simmons in the City. In 1995, he moved to B P Collins and now specialises in guiding clients through their commercial litigation issues, acting for companies and individuals worldwide, focusing on intellectual property disputes and partnership, company and shareholder actions. David is an accredited Mediator. He is Chairman of the Buckinghamshire Branch of the Institute of Directors and non-executive director of a manufacturing company that is the holder of a Queen's Award for Innovation.


David Buckle

David graduated in 1995 from Brunel University, qualified in December 1999 and worked for a north London firm specialising in employment law. David specialises in all areas of employment law with particular emphasis on advising employers on mergers and acquisitions, employee benefits, high-level compromise agreements as well as directors’ service agreements, policies and procedures and immigration matters. David also provides in-house training for clients. He is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Rebecca Samuel

Rebecca qualified as a solicitor in 2004, via a masters degree at the University of Auckland - New Zealand, and joined our Litigation and dispute resolution practice group at the beginning of 2007. Her experience covers a broad range of areas including property, construction, commercial contracts and intellectual property. Rebecca's outside interests include music, sport and languages.
