Distribution Services Structure for Europe: Norgine deal report

B P Collins LLP advised Norgine in connection with the negotiation and closing of a European Master Services Agreement and an associated local service contract structure for outsourced transportation, warehousing and distribution services.

The framework was designed to facilitate the implementation of standardised processes and commercial arrangements aimed at improving distribution efficiency and customer service for Norgine.

The European MSA and the Service Contract for European transportation became operational on 1st January 2011. Local Service Contracts for warehousing and distribution services are being implemented as part of an 18 month roll out programme.

Ken Scrimgeour, Norgine's CCO, commented: "This project will provide a global logistics platform to help facilitate Norgine's continued global growth. B P Collins has provided more than legal advice. They were an integral part of the negotiation team for this diverse and complex project".

Commenting on the completion of the deal, Corporate and Commercial Partner Alex Zachary said: "We are delighted to have played a part in the delivery of this important project and hope that its significant benefits will be enjoyed by Norgine for many years to come."
