B P Collins announces seven promotions
- Lucy Wood is promoted to partner and head of the wills, trusts and probate team.
- Edward Monniot, Janine Gibbs and Charlotte Ernest receive promotions in the property practice.
- Lawyers in the family (Sarah Harding), dispute resolution (Rajiv Malhotra) and employment (Hannah King) practices are also promoted.
B P Collins has announced that from 1 May 2018, Lucy Wood will be promoted to partner and leader of the wills, trusts and probate practice.
Lucy is an experienced private client specialist, who qualified ten years ago and joined B P Collins in January 2016. She is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners, and it’s her advice on wills, estate planning, trusts, Court of Protection work, administration of estates and feedback from clients, which really stood out to the panel and resulted in her promotion.
Edward Monniot, a specialist in property development and Janine Gibbs who is experienced in a wide range of residential and commercial property transactions have been promoted to senior associate and Charlotte Ernest, who specialises in residential property, becomes an associate.
The promotions in the property practice group come after a strong year with the team being shortlisted for Thames Valley Property Law firm of the Year 2018 – the winner will be announced on 3 May 2018. The lawyers have been recognised for their handling of complex deals and transactions and receiving hugely positive feedback from clients.
Hannah King has been promoted to senior associate in the employment practice; Sarah Harding is also promoted to senior associate in the family team and Rajiv Malhotra becomes an associate in the Dispute resolution team.
Simon Deans, senior partner, said: “These promotions are well deserved. Each lawyer has demonstrated a commitment to their clients by offering a bespoke and personal service. They have combined sterling legal advice with a strategic and – for our business clients – commercial mindset. Very well done to them.”
