B P Collins partners help nurture local talent at enterprise event
At the beginning of February partners Victoria Holland and Nick Hallchurch took part in the Dr Challoner's Grammar School Enterprise Enrichment Day, hosted at the Adams Park Conference Centre in High Wycombe.
Fifteen teams of promising year eleven students attended the day-long event, where they were tasked to create an informative campaign to raise awareness for the Wycombe Wanderers Sport & Education Trust.
The engaging task challenged the students to not only produce a clear and creative presentation but to work cohesively as a group, demonstrating good business acumen and solid teamwork.
Victoria and Nick, along with the other local professionals from SpecSavers, Every Message and GAB Robins spent time with each team before selecting five groups to present their campaign to the entire room. The shortlisted groups then did their best to wow the judges again before they crowned one team as the overall winners.
Speaking after the event Victoria Holland, partner in the corporate and commercial practice group commented that: “Both Nick and I were delighted to support Dr Challoner’s and we were very impressed by both the behaviour and enthusiasm of the boys and the quality of ideas and innovation they came up with during the day. The next generation of business leaders certainly appears to be in safe hands!”
