‘Dying Matters’ campaign to host pop up event in Beaconsfield
‘Dying Matters’, a national campaign to raise awareness around the need to plan for later life is coming to Prezzo on Station Road in Beaconsfield on Saturday 13 May from 9.30am to 11.30am.
The campaign involves a coalition of 32,000 members, which aims to help people talk more openly about later life planning, death and bereavement.
Dying Matters member B P Collins, will be offering legal advice along with financial adviser Beaufort Asset Management and Arnolds Funeral Care, to help people plan for their future.
Lucy Wood, B P Collins, said:
“The thought of planning for you and your family’s future can be overwhelming - only 35% of people have made a will, whilst just a tiny 7% of the population have made people aware of the care that they want, if they couldn’t make the decision themselves.
“This is why we’ve organised this free, informal event for anyone who would like to discuss their funeral wishes, plan their finances or discuss wills, trusts and powers of attorney. It’s an opportunity to discuss your future in complete confidence over a complimentary coffee.”
