He has developed specific expertise on advising clients who are involved in disputes and Employment Tribunal proceedings and regularly assists on High Court injunctions. He can also carry out his own advocacy at Employment Tribunals.
Chris advises clients on contentious and non-contentious employment issues, having built up a wide-ranging expertise in employment law since qualifying in 2008.
Chris also specialises on the requirements and effect of TUPE.
Chris established and developed the firm’s business immigration practice, which has, over the past two years, made a significant impact in mitigating the effects of Brexit for EU nationals by creating bespoke settled status training programmes to assist with applications and reassure them about their future in the UK.
Chris deals in matters that range from day-to-day HR enquiries through to advising on the employment aspects that arise as a result of the sale or acquisition of businesses.
Commended for his “practical and commercial advice,” Chris successfully builds relationships with clients, taking time to understand their requirements to ensure that his advice is tailored specifically to achieving the desired outcome.
Chris advises corporate clients on business immigration issues, with a particular focus on obtaining sponsorship licences and ensuring compliance with immigration rules when obtaining skilled worker visas under the Points Based System.

Outside the office
In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family. He is also a keen runner and enjoys playing cricket and golf. Chris enjoys watching any sport, particularly football and supports Tottenham Hotspur.
