Simon is a solicitor in B P Collins’ property disputes team.

Simon advises and acts for SMEs, commercial and residential landlords and high net worth individuals on a range of contentious property matters. He regularly advises on possession claims, boundary disputes, lease interpretation, enfranchisement, easement disputes and adverse possession.

Simon’s work on residential possession includes advising landlords on the service of notices under the Housing Act 1988 and other strategical considerations to achieve the client’s objective. Simon also advises tenants on the validity of notices and disrepair claims.


Simon qualified into the property disputes team in January 2021, having completed his training contract at the firm. His qualification date belies his prior experience in the property disputes team, having worked in the team for 18 months as a paralegal and four months as a trainee.

Outside the office

Simon is a keen ultramarathon runner. Simon spends most weekends bellringing and is otherwise kept busy in his post as Secretary of the St Paul’s Cathedral Guild of Ringers.
