Disbursements
For completeness we have set out the various disbursements but it should be noted that these will be the same for any firm and in addition to any fees quoted by our firm. Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as court fees. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.
Our fees are calculated on a time spent basis, we have a range of hourly rates across the team and the fees will depend on the complexity of the matter and the person dealing with it.
In some circumstances, for example on the death of the first spouse where there is no inheritance tax due, we may be able to agree a fixed fee with you rather than the usual hourly rate.
