B P Collins has been shortlisted for the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce’s (TVCC) Workplace Wellbeing Award. The winner will be revealed on the 27 June 2019. The firm is being recognised for incorporating staff wellbeing into its business culture and commitment to making it a ‘great place to work’ through four pillars: health, social, work and corporate social responsibility.

TVCC said:

“We have been overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of entries, so it’s a great achievement for B P Collins.”

B P Collins has also been shortlisted in the International CSR Excellence Awards. This is in addition to its existing CSR Gold Accreditation via the CSRA scheme.

B P Collins is already the first law firm to achieve gold status in the national Corporate Social Responsibility Accreditation scheme which recognises our CSR efforts in environmental, community, workplace and philanthropy. For example:

  • B P Collins supports local charities and community groups through Heart of Bucks. Each staff member is given a say on who the firm should give donations to every year.
  • It supports young people through the sponsorship of Beaconsfield High School, local youth sports teams and by being trustees of Bucks SportsAid.
  • It helps to protect the environment through a paper-lite scheme and uses re-usable coffee cups and re-usable cotton shopper bags to help cut back on single-use plastic and waste.

Gina Connell, BD, marketing and infrastructure director, said:

“I’m delighted that B P Collins has reached the finals for such worthy awards, which recognise the firm’s commitment to our people, our clients and our local community.”
