Amelia joined the family law team at B P Collins in March 2024.
Experience
Amelia studied Law at the University of Leeds, graduating with first-class honours, and went on to study the LPC at the University of Law in London, achieving a distinction. Amelia qualified as a solicitor in 2015.
Amelia advises on all aspects family law including divorce, financial matters arising on divorce, child arrangements, advising cohabitees in relation to the preparation of cohabitation agreements and disputes arising on separation.
Amelia is keen to promote taking a constructive and non-confrontational approach to disputes wherever possible, working hard to achieve the best outcomes for her clients. She is approachable, empathetic and pragmatic.
Outside the office
In her spare time, Amelia enjoys long walks in the woods with her family, a meaty thriller, yoga and travelling (as much as young children allow!).
