Lucy Wood, an experienced private client specialist, works with clients at all stages of their life, starting out, established families, senior years and later life, and is able to identify likely issues that could be on their agenda (or should be) and work proactively with them and other departments within the firm to ensure they have well rounded advice. Lucy is able to provide support and advice in a clear, straightforward manner and builds lasting relationships with her clients.

Having been recognised for the her experience and the high standard of service she provides by Legal 500, Lucy was also awarded Lawyer of the Year 2018 by the Bucks, Berks and Oxon Law Society. 

Lucy has been ranked as a "next generation lawyer" by the Legal 500, the clients guide to the best law firm and lawyers in the UK.

Lucy is also a trustee for Heart of Bucks, the community foundation for Buckinghamshire. 

High net worth specalist

As a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners Lucy specialises in advising high net worth clients on all aspects of their estates. With her in-depth knowledge, Lucy advises on drafting wills, estate and inheritance tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts, Court of Protection work and the administration estates.  


Lucy joined B P Collins LLP in 2016, having previously worked at a local Buckinghamshire firm covering Beaconsfield, Marlow and High Wycombe. Lucy became partner and practice group leader of the Private client group in 2018 and is a Director of B P Collins Trust Corporation Limited.  

Outside the office

Lucy lives in Thame and is a keen cook in her spare time – her husband is always a willing volunteer to taste new recipes!
