Honest, Efficient and Diligent | Hitchambury Homes case study
‘Honest, Efficient and Diligent’ – Jill Thompson, Hitchambury Homes on B P Collins
Since the late 90s – when New Labour reached its pinnacle, the Millennium Bug was cause for concern and the Millennium Dome opened its doors for the first time - Chris Hardy, senior partner at B P Collins has been advising Hitchambury Homes, the premium property developer based in Beaconsfield.
Chris and his property team have been with them every step of the way as it has grown from strength to strength, building beautifully designed homes across the Home Counties.
So how did they first meet?
Jill Thompson, Development Director at Hitchambury Homes, takes up the story:
"Chris Hardy was recommended to us by another solicitor who knew he would do a great job and he was right. I remember one very complex land purchase where several parties were involved - each with their own covenants. Chris was very diligent throughout, handled it extremely well and secured the result we wanted."
Both B P Collins’ property and employment law practices have advised Hitchambury Homes in the past and Jill sums up the entire service in three words: honest, efficient and diligent. She also comments on the personable service the team provides:
"I can pick up the phone at any time and talk things through. And I very much feel we work as a team to get things done. Everyone uses plain English – no jargon – which is also very important."
Looking to the next 20 years, Jill is optimistic about the future of her company.
"We’ve got a good reputation, solid finances and people are always on the lookout for premium homes in Buckinghamshire. There are exciting times ahead for Hitchambury Homes and B P Collins looks forward to working as a team to achieve even greater levels of success."
