"Always a pleasure to deal with and he speaks in a language I can understand, explaining any legal terminology. I feel that we have a great working relationship and I can always trust Chris to carry out my requests efficiently and within any specified time constraints."

Tony Critoph, W G Binder

Property development specialist

Chris has dealt with all types of property transactions but for many years has concentrated on property development, acting either for developers in the acquisition of sites and the subsequent sale of completed units or for owners of land selling to developers. This has led to him having an established portfolio of such clients, including Broads Properties Limited , Chartridge Developments Ltd, Derbygove Ltd and Hitchambury Homes Ltd, many of whom have sought his advice for a long time.

Experience

Chris Hardy joined B P Collins in 1983, was a partner in the firm for 31 years and served as its senior partner from 2014 until 2017. Although he then retired as a partner he remains as a consultant within the property practice group.

Outside the office

Chris and his wife Audrey have two grown up children and a young grandson who keeps them on their toes. Having lived in Buckinghamshire for so long, Chris has extensive contacts in the area. Currently chairman of Chalfont St Giles Cricket Club, he is also an umpire, now that he regards his playing days as being behind him. He is also the current president of the Chilterns Cricket League as well as being a keen golfer and supporter of Wycombe Wanderers FC.
