Taj Atwal-Mistry is a solicitor in B P Collins’ dispute resolution team.
Experience
Taj joined B P Collins in July 2026. Prior to joining the firm, she trained and qualified at a leading specialist construction and engineering law firm, where she gained experience advising on complex construction disputes through adjudication, litigation and arbitration.
She was part of the team acting for the owner of a waste-to-energy plant in a termination dispute before the Technology and Construction Court, involving claims exceeding £110 million, including liquidated damages for delay and defect rectification costs.
Education
Taj completed her law degree at City, University of London and her LPC at BPP University Law School, Holborn.
Outside the office
Taj enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter and son, creating memories with family and friends. She has a passion for travelling, particularly watching the sunrise in new destinations, and has a keen interest in reformer Pilates, reading and mindfulness.
