Swim England is the national governing body for swimming, diving, water polo, open water swimming, and synchronised swimming in England.

The Dispute Resolution Panel forms part of the Swim England Judicial System, and arbitrates over a range of issues, including alleged breaches of club, body or organisation rules, misconduct, serious misconduct such as bringing the sport into disrepute, as well as breaches of Swim England’s Regulations and its Code of Ethics.

Alongside his existing practice, Simon also sits on the Disciplinary Panel for the British Basketball League and the Women’s British Basketball League, and is a member of the Sports Resolutions (UK) Pro Bono Panel. He brings notable commercial and sports law experience to the role, also gained through working with sports organisations, athletes, and commercial stakeholders on a range of contentious issues.
