BMRA Webinar: Dealing with the EA

On 19th January 2021, Simon Carroll and Jonothan Moss from our environment team held a webinar for BMRA members focussing on the importance of regulatory compliance and dealings with the Environment Agency (EA), avoiding prosecution, and the early steps members can take to reduce the chances of breaching a myriad of regulatory rules.
 
Simon and Jonothan were joined by guest speaker Dr David Dickerson, a Director of Environmental Pollution Management Limited, with over 40 years’ experience in environmental enforcement, consultancy and education. David has worked with many organisations establishing simple and effective Environmental Management Systems, and with those involved in litigation, David has acted as an expert witness in many environmental and criminal cases. He offers some key insights in both respects, with the mantra 'prevention is better than cure'.
