Dominic is a solicitor in the family team. Dominic advises clients on a wide range of family law matters and has developed particular expertise in complex and high conflict cases. He regularly acts in matters involving allegations of domestic abuse, coercive and controlling behaviour, parental alienation, significant mental health issues and disputes concerning children.

He is experienced in cases requiring the careful analysis of large volumes of evidence and complex family dynamics. Dominic regularly advises clients in highly contested family disputes, helping them navigate challenging proceedings whilst remaining focused on achieving practical and proportionate outcomes. He is equally adept at securing negotiated settlements where possible, whilst providing robust representation when litigation cannot be avoided.

Dominic studied Law at the University of Nottingham and completed the LPC LLM at BPP University in London, achieving a distinction.

High conflict divorce and domestic abuse – Dominic has particular expertise in high conflict family cases involving allegations of domestic abuse, coercive and controlling behaviour, emotional harm and complex disputes concerning children. He has experience acting both for victims of abuse and for those facing allegations, guiding clients through highly sensitive proceedings with confidence and clarity.

Mental health and complex family dynamics – Dominic regularly advises clients in cases where mental health difficulties form part of the wider family dynamic. He has experience in matters involving conditions such as bipolar disorder, personality disorders, eating disorders, anxiety and depression, helping clients navigate the unique challenges these issues can present within family proceedings.

SEND and neurodivergence – Dominic has a particular interest and experience in cases involving neurodivergent adults and children, including those with autism, ADHD and other additional needs. He understands the importance of tailoring both communication and legal strategy to reflect the individual needs of each child and family.

Complex children disputes – Dominic regularly acts in disputes concerning arrangements for children, including cases involving allegations of parental alienation, safeguarding concerns, relocation applications and intractable contact disputes.
