Specialisms

She advises on a wide range of estate planning matters including drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys and tax planning, with particular expertise on the use of trusts. She acts for UK and international clients, including an entrepreneurial client base.

She also regularly deals with the administration of complex and high-value estates, often involving foreign assets, as well as Court of Protection matters.

Experience

Prior to working at BP Collins, she spent the first ten years of her career working in London acting for high net worth families. Her work has predominantly focused on tailored and bespoke estate planning advice, which typically includes advising on how best to protect clients’ assets for the future generations.

She has always enjoyed developing longstanding relationships with her clients and their families.

Key achievements

Emma is a full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and has obtained the STEP Certificate and Diploma in Trusts and Estates.

She was recently described as a “Key Lawyer” in the Legal 500 directory.

She contributes regularly to a number of local publications in and around Buckinghamshire and has featured on the guest panel of a radio show, highlighting the importance of pre-death planning.

She is well regarded in the field of estate planning and trusts, and is known to be a trusted advisor to her clients.

Outside the office

Emma enjoys spending time with her boys including her dog Monty. She also loves music and skiing, and is a Beaver leader at her local Beaconsfield Scouts group.
