Emma is an associate in the family team, having qualified in September 2023.
Experience
Emma has a broad range of experience in family matters, including divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings and Children Act proceedings. Her clients include a number of high net worth individuals and families. She has a growing sports law practice, having advised numerous professional athletes and provided bespoke legal advice on all aspects of family law.
Emma is known for her forward-thinking and pragmatic approach, focusing on practical solutions that align with her clients’ goals. Emma is always willing to go above and beyond, supporting her clients with patience and kindness, ensuring she truly understands their needs and considers their unique circumstances.
Emma obtained a First Class Law degree at the University of Buckingham, followed by a distinction in her Legal Practice Course and Masters, which focused on pre-nuptial agreements.
Whilst studying, Emma volunteered at a children’s charity as a Contact Officer and facilitator of the Separated Parents Information Programme. Emma is also a professional mentor for law students at the University of Buckingham.
Other achievements
Emma is a co-chair of the YRes Oxfordshire Committee and is also one of the Press Release Officers for the Resolution Oxfordshire Committee.
Outside of the office
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her young family and long walks with her two puppies, Teddy and Nala
