As part of his employment practice, Greg advises employers and employees on both contentious and non-contentious matters. He regularly advises on and negotiates settlement agreements and his recent tribunal work has involved acting for both employers and employees in relation to claims for unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and age discrimination.
Greg’s immigration work includes advising employers on obtaining visas for skilled workers under Tier 2 of the points-based system (to be the “skilled worker route” under the new immigration system). He also assists individuals to secure their right to live and work in the UK and advises on the EU Settlement Scheme.
Greg qualified into the employment team and business immigration team in January 2020, having completed his training contract at the firm.
Prior to joining B P Collins, Greg spent a year volunteering for Reprieve, a charity who aim to abolish the death penalty and assist those on death row worldwide and as part of his degree he spent a year studying French Law at Université Paris II (Panthéon-Assas) as an ERASMUS student.
Outside the office
Greg enjoys reading, going to the cinema and is a keen fan of live music. Greg also keeps bees at the bottom of his garden and is constantly trying to find new ways to use their honey in his cooking.
