James is an associate solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team and has worked in the criminal sector for 10 years. James is a solicitor advocate and has represented clients in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal.
James specialises in criminal law, in particular motoring offences and environmental agency matters. He has an in depth knowledge and represents client from the initial interview under caution to the conclusion of any Court hearing. James can also advise and represent in the following areas; inquest hearings, Court martial, shotgun licence applications and appeals and taxi licence revocation appeals.
James studied geography at the University of Edinburgh before completing a law conversion at the University of Law in Guildford.
Outside of work James likes to keep fit by going to the gym regularly and does voluntary work for human trafficking charities.
