Thames Valley and City law firm, B P Collins is delighted to announce the appointment of wills, trust and probate partner, Emma Hurrell to its private client team.
Described by The Legal 500 as a ‘Key Lawyer,’ Emma brings extensive experience in the private client and wealth management sector. She advises on a wide range of estate planning matters including drafting wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys and tax planning, with particular expertise on the use of trusts. She acts for both UK and international clients, which includes an entrepreneurial client base.
Emma also regularly deals with the administration of complex and high-value estates, often involving foreign assets, as well as Court of Protection matters.
Prior to working at B P Collins, Emma spent the first ten years of her career working in London as a trusted adviser for high-net-worth families. Her work has predominantly focused on tailored and bespoke estate planning advice, which typically includes advising on how best to protect clients’ assets for the future generations. Emma is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has obtained the STEP Certificate and Diploma in Trusts and Estates.
Emma’s appointment will strengthen and build the successful private wealth services that B P Collins provides. On joining the firm, Emma says:
