Employment associate Hannah King demonstrates her knowledge and experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters for a range of clients through her clarity of legal jargon and realistic expectations.
Putting her clients best interests first at all times, she has been commended for being a "good guardian" and "extremely supportive" and "realistic in her views".
Hannah acts for both private and corporate clients in all areas of employment law and has a particular interest in discrimination and whistleblowing claims. She has significant employment tribunal litigation experience acting on cases relating to unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims. In addition she assists senior members of the team with High Court litigation relating to breach of contract claims and injunctions. Hannah is currently working alongside Jo Davis developing a specialism in partnership exits and disputes.
Along with providing corporate support to clients of the firm, her non-contentious experience includes reviewing and drafting contracts and handbooks, settlement agreements, as well as advising employers on day to day employment issues such as sickness absence, grievances and disciplinary issues.
Hannah is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Association of Partnership Practitioners.
When she's not at work, Hannah can be found keeping fit in her local pool and has recently taken up running.
Hannah previously worked for a large national law firm where she completed her training contract and qualified into employment in March 2009. Hannah joined B P Collins in July 2012.
Hannah studied Law (LLB) at the University of Plymouth before undertaking the LPC at The University of the West of England, Bristol.
