Statement on the Court of Appeal’s decision on Waggott v Waggott

On 11.04.18 the Court of Appeal rejected the principle that earning capacity is a resource to be shared between spouses upon the breakdown of a long marriage to which both breadwinner and homemaker have made a full and equal contribution.
